The Wisdom Approach Illustrated

You have a scenario where there are 100 scientists of different backgrounds, race, religious beliefs, age, gender, and so forth. They are tasked with coming up with an answer (in the form of a formula) of how the construct of friction would work in a specific situation. Despite the individual differences, the nature of the desired outcome and the training of the scientists means that it is possible for most or all of the scientists to come up with the same answer and that answer can be systematically and objectively determined to be correct. In this scenario, bias can be completely removed and the differences of the scientists (quantum in nature) can be made irrelevant as the skillset requires an intelligence-based thinking approach to achieve the formula. A scientist who has reached a different answer has either found a variant of the answer (if more than one answer exists) or has made a mistake (if only 1 true answer exist). Either way, it can be verified in an objective and systematic manner.

While the above illustration can represent a real-life scenario, it rarely occurs in real-life as the parameter set is very specific and we will often not find ourselves needing to think so deeply.

The Wisdom Approach attempts to simplify the thinking (you might note that insights from wisdom are often simple, yet meaningful) while achieving the same level of precision to help individuals in real-life scenarios which many of us might face. When applied to more specific scenarios, it has the ability to create solutions which might not be possible using intelligence-based thinking approaches (e.g. first principles thinking, design thinking).

An example of the application of The Wisdom Approach into real-life scenarios would be its application into fighting scams. A description of the logic of fighting scams, in point form, goes as follow:

  1. Scams are common nowadays and you might be a potential target of scammers. (Addresses a common scenario many may face. This is the identified problem).
  2. The easiest way to avoid being scammed is to be able to identify a scam quickly, easily and accurately. (The identified objective/solution to the problem).
  3. Once a scam has been identified with confidence, it becomes much easier for any target of a scammer to take corrective and preventive actions (The solution, which is based on meaningful scam identification).
  4. A lack of confidence in identification can lead to the scammer persuading the targeted victim to take actions harmful to himself/herself. (potential confounds when dealing with a quantum construct).
  5. A scam MUST be based on a lie. Without the lie, it is not a scam, although it could still be something else unpleasant (e.g. an extortion, a bad deal, etc)
  6. The Wisdom Approach allows for the creation of an elemental fingerprint of “a lie” and “the truth” to be created. These two fingerprints define the construct (a lie and the truth) and can be objectively and systematically explained. The fingerprint is used for proper scam identification.
  7. In many potential scam cases, it is possible to achieve 100% identification accuracy (much like the scenario of 100 scientist where 100% of bias can be removed) and the logic will be irrefutable (E.g. the number 7 is greater than the number 3) and easily explainable. This allows for trust and confidence to be built up, such that scammers have little chance to persuade the targeted victim to make a mistake (addresses point 4, by creating an explainable solution that is irrefutable and easy to understand).

Much like the illustration of the 100 scientists, The Wisdom Approach allows for the creation of a solution for real-life scenarios, such as when applied towards anti-scam efforts, applications and education.

All these are done with the four mentioned attributes mentioned at the start of this page (reposted for your easy reference).

  1. Understand the need for wisdom to be used as a basis for collaboration and decision making to improve society.
  2. Understand that wisdom is not a vague construct but one that can be utilized in a manner that is scientific, logical and relies on universal truth and logic.
  3. Understands that universal truth and logic are not human centric, but represents universal constructs that exist just because they exist, and can be utilized to further our understanding of our world, our people and solutions for society.
  4. Understands that universal truth and logic are tautological and irrefutable and not subjected to human opinions. For example, “friction” is a universal truth/construct and its logic is that when there is more friction in a scenario, the output will be lower than when there is less friction in a scenario. This is the basis of the construct of friction and its logic, and both are irrefutable. Friction is also NOT a human-made construct. At best, we have just labelled it as the term friction (or an equivalent term in some other language) in order to help us to describe it and to communicate with each other.

Once again, if you seek to understand these 4 aspects and want to build a better and wiser society, please feel free to join BRIT Nation and contribute to our objectives.

The identified objectives of BRIT Nation are:

To reduce the negative aspects of specific human traits in many scenarios that can be detrimental to society (E.g. dishonesty, opaque agenda, selfish intentions).

To build a better and wiser society.

To facilitate a more effective way of thinking when dealing with complicated scenarios.

To help our leaders to make wiser decisions that are more holistic and comprehensive, yet easy to explain and understand.

To create value for the advancement of society whereby much of the value can be new and untapped in nature.
